Rules & Regulations

❖To prevent ragging and punishing those who involve in ragging, with provided rules & regulations and the appropriate law in force.

Ragging has the effect of casing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique of a fresher or a junior student.

❖The students are directly under supervision and direction of Principal of the School of Nursing 1 Students are expected to comply with the Rules and Regulations of the school and Hospital that are subject to change from time to time, the performance of the students is evaluated periodically, especially before promotion or appearance for State Board Examination which the students will appear for the Examination conducted by the UP. State Medical Faculty at the end of each year. For the State Board Examinations Students must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in the interval Examinations

1. Maintain ABSOLUTE SILENCE. No group studies. 2. Books in demand may not be renewed. 3. Readers are responsible for books issued against their names. 4. Library reserves the right to recall any issued book even before the due date. 5. Readers should observe strict silence inside the Library. 6. Use of Mobile phones is not permitted inside the Library premises. 7. Users are not allowed to carry eatables/drinks inside the Library premises. 8. Library card is non-transferable. 9. Readers are not allowed to bring their personal books or any printed material (spiral/bound book/photocopied material) inside the Library. 10. Personal belongings like bags, laptop, umbrellas, etc. should keep out side of the library. These are not allowed inside the Library. 11. Readers are advised not to leave their valuable items like money, passport, credit card etc. at the library counter. 12. Marking, scratching, damaging, mutilating, stealing, library materials or property will invite disciplinary action against the defaulters. 13. Readers should not carry books from one floor to another and should leave the books on the reading table after consulting. 14. Readers should not talk or discuss as they may disturb other readers. Reading halls are meant for individual study and research only. 15. Users should not rest or keep their feet on tables, chairs, shelves, etc. 16. The library shall not be responsible for any loss or damage of the personal belongings of the users. 17. Library staff shall not transmit telephone calls or other personal messages to the readers. 18. The Librarian reserves the right to suspend the membership of any member found misbehaving with the library staff or with any other member.
