B. Sc. Nursing is a four-year undergraduate programme focused on developing critical care, advanced thinking skills, proficiency and values necessary for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery as mentioned in the National Health Policy.

The purpose of General Nursing Programme is to prepare a good general nurse, who will function as a member of the health team beginning with competencies, for first level position in both hospital and community.

This have its own unique benefits, ANM graduates have better career prospects and higher earning potential. Registered nurses are in high demand in both public and private healthcare sectors, and the demand is expected to grow in the coming years.
